The Focus on Food Cooking Bus programme has a proven reputation for delivering food education and teacher training at primary and secondary level as well as in the wider community and among health professionals.
This success, coupled with the dramatic rise in diet-related health problems, has inevitably led to pressure on the Campaign from both the public and private sectors to extend its services beyond primary and secondary school parameters.
Dean Clough has an enviable location. It is an impressive group of buildings which once formed the biggest carpet factory in the world! Now the regenerated mills are home to many businesses and artists. The complex includes a theatre, café, restaurant, design shop, series of art galleries and a hotel. There is ample secure parking and being right in the heart of the Pennines has fantastic transport links via the M62 and rail network.

Lifestyle cooking courses for all skill levels, bespoke corporate events and training for teachers and health professionals are offered at this state-of-the-art cooking school.
As well as two demonstration areas there are cooking stations for 20 students. The Focus on Food Cooking School’s teaching and learning accommodation is equipped with leading ICT and audiovisual equipment to enable workshop/course sessions to be recorded for future reference and training.
