John Sorrell CBE, with his wife and business partner Frances
(née Newell) set up Europe’s biggest corporate identity consultants, Newell and Sorrell, in 1976. The company merged with the Interbrand Group in 1997. Focus on Food received in-kind sponsorship from Interbrand Newell and Sorrell (now Interbrand) in the form of the award-winning Focus of Food design imagery during its first two years of operation.
John and Frances Sorrell are co-Chairs of the Sorrell Foundation a charity they established to inspire creativity in young people and improve quality of life through good design.
